Ludmilla Steiner of Treasure Island, Fl, formerly from Mahopac and Red Hook, passed away on April 25, 2010. She was 88.

Ms. Steiner was born in Austria and came to the United States as a teenager. She lived in Manhattan with her Aunt where she attended Cosmetology School and was a hairdresser for many years. After her marriage to John Steiner, they moved to Mahopac, and later resided in Red Hook, on a beautiful farm. She was an avid reader and enjoyed gardening.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John Steiner and her son, Dr. John Steiner. She is survived by her daughter, Hilda MacDonald and her husband W.K MacDonald from Treasure Island, FL, and her grandchildren, Jennifer Steiner from Rhinebeck, Jeffrey Steiner from Manhattan, and many nieces and nephews.
