The scouts and their leaders traveled to the Curtis Read Scout Reservation in the Adirondacks last week, spending time at Camp Waubeeka, where they lived in tents, cooked their own meals, participated in white water rafting, cave exploration, swimming, boating, and even zip line competition.

Scout leader John Duncan said the week’s activities also included merit badge and rank advancement classes.

Older scouts learned leadership and accountability skills by drafting duty rosters and caring for the younger boys.

Scouts participating included: Jonathan Corvino, Anthony Aiello, Jake Barbara, Nick Barbara, Owen Benfield, Peter Budd, Chris Carapola, Vincent Corsale, Nick Cortina, Jimmy Duncan, Andrew Gordon, Erik Gordon, Max Greene, Winfield Greene, Thomas Kulo, Erik Market, Kris Market, Stephen Mengler, Chris Ong, Greg Ong, Alan Pugielli, Nick Rockover, Adam Romano, Karl Rosenfeld, Billy Salisbury, Brendon Shryer, Tad Waclawski, Jake Weiner, and Chris Zazzero.

The adults accompanying the boys were Scoutmaster Jimmy Ho along with Joseph Rosenfeld, Robert Romano, and Keith Greene.
