Softball team beats Hillcrest, New City, then falls to Cornwall, Wappingers
BREWSTER – The Brewster All-Star Little League (11 and 12 YO) softball team played well in its first two games of the Section 4 tournament last week, but the team’s run toward a state title came to an end after two losses last weekend in the double elimination tournament. Full Story

12U Pirates Pick Up Two Wins
The Patterson Pirates 12 and under Black team won two games last week to put an end to a three-game skid. The Pirates defeated Patterson’s 12U Gold team 15-8 on Monday night after beating Kent 13-2 last Thursday.
Those victories sandwiched a 4-4 tie against Bedford Hills at Peckham Park on Saturday. The WPBA has ruled that that game must be replayed in the future. Full Story
Patterson 12U Gold Splits Two Games
The Patterson Pirates 12 and under Gold baseball team, which will be heading upstate to play in a tournament in Cooperstown next month, lost to the Patterson12U Black Team 15-8 on Sunday night, after defeating Lewisboro 16-2 on Saturday. Both games took place at Peckham Park in Patterson. Full Story
Cubs Pick up 11th Straight Win
CARMEL—The U-14 Carmel Cubs baseball team continued their hot play, collecting four more wins in the last week. The Cubs (11-0) opened their week with home wins over two different Brewster teams, before beating Haverstraw and Mahopac on the road. Full Story
Kent 10U Squad Gets Back on Track with Wins
KENT—The 10 and under Kent White Sox had a rough start to the season, losing the first seven straight games. This weekend the Sox got their first two wins, a 5-4 nail biter over local rival Patterson on Sunday and a 14-4 rout of Yorktown the day before. Full Story
10U Pirates lose to Kent, Defeat Armonk, Yonkers
The Patterson Pirates 10 and under baseball team had a solid week last week, winning two games while losing one.
The Pirates were defeated by Kent 5-4 on Sunday. That came after a 7-6 victory over Armonk on Saturday and a 9-3 win over Yonkers on Thursday.
Patterson’s record stood at 6-4 as of press time. Full Story
12U Kent White Sox Split over the Weekend
KENT—The 12 and under Kent White Sox had an up and down weekend. On Sunday the team lost to Bedford Hills, 7-1, but on Saturday the Sox beat local rival Carmel, 7-1. One game there was little to no hitting for them and in the other game the offense clicked at just the right time. Full Story

Carmel Cubs 12 U Baseball Team goes to Cooperstown, NY to play baseball at Cooperstown Dreams Park (Home of the Baseball Hall of Fame) for a week long Tournament with 104 Teams from all over the Country! It was by far an experience of a lifetime for these young boys and their families. Full Story
