Mary (Psik) Robbins, age 78, died July 20, 2010, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born September 8, 1931, to Jon and Otilia Psik, in Tarrytown. She worked as a telephone operator and in 1953 married Alfred C Robbins. They relocated to Carmel to raise their family. Mary loved to read and volunteered at the Kent Public Library for many years. She and her husband retired to Bradenton, Fl. in 1994. She is survived by her husband; her daughter, Patricia Franklin and husband, Michael Saviano; her son Kenneth, wife Mary, and children, Melissa, Jackie, and Timmy; and her son Andrew, his wife Jo, and daughter, Jamie. She also had three great grandchildren; AJ, Will, and Addison. Mary was a great lady and will be sorely missed. Visiting hours were Sunday, July 25, at the Cargain Funeral Home, Carmel, 845-225-3672.

A mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, July 26, at St. James Church, Carmel.
