Howard Cole Hartwell, 84, of Hanson, Kentucky, passed away July 4, 2010, at home surrounded by family. He was born August 28, 1925, in Danbury, the son of the late Robert Gavin and Velma Cole Hartwell. Full Story
MYRA L. WERNER
Myra L. Werner known to some as “Mrs. Walker,” of Patterson died at home on Sunday July 25, 2010 at the age of 85.
Mrs. Werner was born March 13, 1925 in Brooklyn, daughter of the late James and Mary (Cameron) Thompson. During WWII she was an Air Raid Warden in Manhattan, and shortly after the war she married George Werner on March 3, 1946 in New York City. Full Story
MARY PSIK ROBBINS
Mary (Psik) Robbins, age 78, died July 20, 2010, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born September 8, 1931, to Jon and Otilia Psik, in Tarrytown. She worked as a telephone operator and in 1953 married Alfred C Robbins. They relocated to Carmel to raise their family. Mary loved to read and volunteered at the Kent Public Library for many years. BETTY JEAN BOOTH JOHNSON
Betty Jean Booth Johnson 59, died at Seton hospital in Burnet, Texas, on July 10, 2010, after a long illness. Betty attended Carmel schools and BOCES school for nursing. She moved to Texas 23 years ago with her husband Paul, Sr., and two small sons. She was born in Mahopac EMM hospital on May 5, 1951, to the late Hobert and Bessie Booth of Kent Cliffs.
