Cubs Beat Cortlandt, Lose To Putnam Valley
CARMEL—After starting the season on a tear, the Carmel Cubs U18 team has struggled to score runs of late and split their two games last week. The Cubs (11-3) beat Cortlandt 5-1 on Saturday after losing 7-4 to Putnam Valley on Thursday.
Troy Torres led the Cubs in their win over Cortlandt, not only did he pitch a complete game one-hitter, but he also added a pair of RBIs. Full Story
Cubs Rally Against Brewster, Fall to Mahopac
CARMEL—With their season winding down the Carmel Cubs U-10 team got a chance to see where they stand against potential playoff opponents. The Cubs (8-5) took on two teams ahead of them in the standings and got a split, losing 8-2 to Mahopac on Tuesday before beating Brewster 8-7 with a late inning rally on Thursday. Full Story
Pirates Move on in Williamsport Tourney
The Patterson Pirates 11 and Under Williamsport Tournament Team won its district and was set to play a team from either Orange or Sullivan County in Wallkyl on Wednesday in the next level of the tournament.
Teams that advance in the tournament will have a chance to participate in the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pa. Full Story
Carmel Cubs U14 Push Win Streak to Fourteen
CARMEL—It’s not easy to win 14 straight to open your season, but the U14 Carmel Cubs are certainly making it look that way. They picked up three more convincing wins, 13-5 against Shrub Oak on Tuesday, 11-3 against Sleepy Hollow on Saturday, and 11-4 against North Salem on Sunday. Full Story
11U White Sox Split Four Games
KENT—The Kent White Sox 11U team had an up and down week. Kent split a double header Sunday against Westchester Frozen Ropes, they won the first game, 11-9 but lost the second, 11-3 in five innings. Saturday the Sox lost to Patterson, 9-1 but Thursday they beat Shrub Oak with a 7-6 walkoff win. All of the games were held at Ryan’s field. Full Story
Patterson 10U Team Tops Brewster, Yorktown
The Patterson Pirates 10 and Under baseball team picked up wins over Brewster and Yorktown last week to improve to 8-4 on the season.
Patterson beat Brewster 11-10 in seven innings Saturday on the road and Yorktown 10-5 last Thursday at home at Peckham Park. Full Story
10U Sox Prevail over Somers, Fall to Croton
KENT—The Kent White Sox 10U squad split its two games this week, Saturday the team played Somers and won 5-4 but on Thursday the Sox lost to Croton, 14-2. The record is now at 3-8, but their game this weekend showed that they can improve that record with some consistent play. Full Story
Brewster 10U Team Comes Up Short in Two Extra-Inning Games
BREWSTER—The Brewster 10U baseball team dropped an 11-10 decision to Patterson in a game played Saturday at Mt. Ebo. Brewster also came up on the short end of an 8-7 verdict against Carmel last Friday at Camarda Park in Carmel. Both games went seven innings. Full Story
11U Pirates Trip Up Armonk, Brewster
The Patterson Pirates 11 and Under Gold team continued its outstanding season last week by defeating Armonk last Thursday 5-4, Kent 10-1 on Saturday night and Brewster 12-2 on Sunday.

Patterson 10U Baseball Team Wins Four Games
The Patterson Pirates 10 and Under baseball team that is coached by Tom Girard won all four of its games last week. They defeated Brewster Saturday on the road, 6-5. That win was preceded by another one over another Brewster team, 8-3, last Thursday at home. The Pirates defeated host Cortlandt National, 18-4, last Sunday. Full Story
12U Kent White Sox Top Patterson Pirates
KENT—After a 4-1start to the season the Kent White Sox 12U baseball team’s record now sits at 6-7. This past week the Sox tried to get back on track, they won their first game of the week but couldn’t keep it going and lost the next two. Saturday they lost to New Castle, 5-1 and on Thursday they came back from Lewisboro with a tough 9-7 loss. Full Story
Brewster All-Stars End Run in Sectional 4 Final
The scrappy Brewster All-Star Little League (9 and 10 YO) softball team fell just short of their goal to make the state final four, losing the final championship game Thursday at Kensico Little league field.
Lady Bears beat Eastchester, Lost to Stony Point, beat Eastchester again, beat Stony Point, and then lost to Stony Point in the championship game. Full Story
16U White Sox Softball Squad Rips Ossining
The Kent White Sox 16 and Under softball team improved its record to 10-0 on the season by dominating Ossining 13-1 last Tuesday. Despite being on the road, the game was counted as a home game for Kent. Full Story
Patterson Cooperstown Team Wins Two Games Last Week
The Patterson Pirates 12 and Under Cooperstown baseball team had a strong week last week, winning two of the three games it played. Those included an 11-1 win over Carmel on the road Sunday and a 10-5 victory over Bedford Hills at home on Saturday.
The Pirates lost to host Kent 5-4 last Tuesday. Patterson's record now stands at 6-4. Full Story
Magic Playing Tough Week
The Mahopac Magic 12U baseball team is playing at the Cooperstown All Star Village from July 24-July 30 with 24 teams from all over the country. The boys and their families have worked hard fundraising all season and look forward to experiencing a week of playing competitive baseball. Full Story
