County Declares War on Invasive Trees
To protect the people of Putnam from radicalized flora, the Legislature has declared a war against invasive species of trees. The initiative, called Defending Our Native Trees/War Against Invasive Trees, or “DON’T WAIT,” gives officials authority to chop down any tree deemed invasive, even if such cutting creates more than a keyhole-sized view of the Hudson River.
