Carmel Cubs 12U Team Tops Bedford in Playoff Opener
Bjorkander fans 13 to lead Carmel to next round
CARMEL—After splitting a doubleheader with Bedford on Saturday, the Carmel Cubs 12U team beat the same team once again on Monday in the opening round of the playoffs. The fifth-seeded Cubs (5-13) beat fourth seed Bedford, 10-1, on Monday night to keep their season alive. The win followed Saturday’s split where the Cubs lost the opener 18-8, before winning the second game 6-4. Full Story
11U Patterson Pirates Gold Fini sh Regular Season on Strong Note
The Patterson 11 and Under Gold Team finished its regular season by winning three of four games last week. The Pirates lost to Mahopac 5-4 at home on Sunday and defeated Shrub Oak 4-0 at home last Friday after defeating Mt. Kisco 10-0 on the road last Wednesday. Kent White Sox 10U Team Gets a Win in the Last Week of Season
KENT—The Kent White Sox 10 and under baseball team lost its last game on Sunday at Sleepy Hollow in a disappointing 11-0 no hitter, but otherwise finished their season playing some solid baseball. The Sox lost Saturday to Yonkers, 9-2 but the game was tied 2-2 going into the fifth inning and on Tuesday they went to Croton and came back with a 5-4 win to finish the summer with a 4-14 record. Patterson 12U Wraps Up Regular Season, Gets Ready for Cooperstown
Despite not making the WPBA playoffs, the Patterson Pirates 12 and Under Cooperstown baseball team has a lot to look forward to after splitting the last two games of the regular season last week. Patterson Williamsport Team Loses in Sectionals
The Patterson Pirates 11 and Under Williamsport team’s successful run through the Williamsport Tournament came to an end last Monday after losing to Eastchester 6-5 in Wallkill in the state sectionals.
Patterson trailed 5-1 after two innings in a game that started last Sunday but had to be concluded the next day due to a rain delay. Full Story

The Patterson Pirates 11 and Under Black baseball team split the last two games of the regular season last week, which was good enough to make the WPBA playoffs.
