Doansburg Chamber Ensemble Closes Out a Milestone Season
What is so lovely about chamber orchestras is the nature of intimacy. Their musical selections tend to be more personal, suited to a group of 50 or less musicians. As the music swells, it’s all the more luscious because there’s as much bravado in the crisp plucks of Strauss’s “Pizzicato Polka” as Beethoven’s most grand symphonies.
