EDWARD G. MALONE JR.
Edward G. Malone Jr. of Yorktown died Sunday August 22, 2010, in Peekskill at the age of 86. Mr. Malone was born December 9, 1923 in Gloucester, MA, son of the late Edward G. and Della (Parsons) Malone. He graduated from Gloucester High School in 1945. Mr. Malone served in the Navy from 1946 to 1974, and participated in World War II, Korea, and Vietnam. Full Story

Peter J. Quirk, 69, an 18-year resident of Wingdale, NY, formerly of North Salem, died Thursday, August 19 at home. Mr. Quirk was a bus driver for many years with First Transit in Patterson, retiring in 2008. Born January 8, 1941 in Mt. Kisco, he was the son of the late Peter T. and Margaret Totten Quirk.
