About That Ground Zero Mosque!
Dear Editor:
When outspoken pundits, mayors and politicians lack enough sensitivity to know what’s both legal and inappropriate, it’s fair to wonder what else they lack. They have all the vision of Mr. Magoo.
What bravery does it take to stand up, so gallantly, for freedom of religion—which is all but guaranteed by the constitution already?
Bill O’Reilly says they’ll never get construction crews to build the mosque (and its education in the Islamic law system called sharia). However, they can always try to get workers from Venezuela, Yemen, and Iran. (Though we can surely rely on the Federal Government to keep out any illegal immigrants.)
Before the developers build that mosque and sharia-bringing center, they should be sure to touch base with the NYFD for information on how to make it more fireprooof than the World Trade towers were.
If it’s true that part of a deathbringing plane fell through the roof of the present building, it isn’t two blocks from ground zero, it’s part of ground zero.
If sharia they must, they must sharia in the right places, away from the affronted American public. How about Tulsa?
