GIUSEPPE RELLA

Giuseppe Rella, 68, of Brewster passed away on August 29, 2010, at Putnam Hospital Center. Mr. Rella was born on August 20, 1942 in Grumo Appula, Italy to Michele and Lucia (Raguso) Rella. Mr. Rella received his Masters Degree and was a self employed Linguist/Tutor for the many languages in which he spoke. Giuseppe was a devoted Roman Catholic and he volunteered his services at many of the local churches such as St. James The Apostle in Carmel, St. John’s The Evangelist in Mahopac, and St. Lawrence O’Toole in Brewster, as well as many other Parishes in Putnam, Dutchess and Westchester Counties. He is survived by his beloved mother Lucia, his wife Joy and his three sisters; Angelia Re lla, Silvana Rella and Marisa Rella. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, September 3, 2010 at 11:30am at St. James The Apostle R.C. Church, 14 Gleneida Avenue, Carmel. Mr. Rella will have an additional Mass said at Chiesa Matrice di Grumo Appula – S. Maria Assunta, in Italy and he will be laid to rest at Cimietero de Gumo Appula, Via Cap. Magg. M.
