Percy Adams

Percy Adams, 84, of Brewster died on September 10. Mr. Adams was born on July 26, 1926, to Percy and Helen (Conley) Adams in Carmel. He proudly served his Country with the U.S. Army during World War II. On November 6, 1970, he married Marilyn Tilford, in Pound Ridge, NY. He was a carpenter by trade and he worked for KWK Construction Company, in Brewster before his retirement.

He is survived by his beloved wife Marilyn; his four loving sons, Guy and his wife Mindy, Steven and his wife Mitzi, Jamie and his wife Patti, and Wayne and his wife Rose; eight grandchildren, Amanda, Cody, Tanya, April, Becky, Stephanie, Courtney, and Katelyn; and one great-grandson, Keith. He is also survived by his three sisters Grace Nichols, Dorothy Fletcher, and Shirley Goutremout. He is predeceased by his parents, his brothers William and Donald, and his sisters Virginia von Essen, Alice Merritt, Linda Eddy, June Pearlman, and Winnie Tompkins. A visitation was held on Tuesday, September 14, from 4-8pm at Cargain Funeral Homes in Carmel. A service was held on Wednesday, September 15, at the Funeral Home. Interment was private.
