Did Hall Vote to Raise Taxes? THE Democratic controlled Congress adjourned last week without bringing a bill on tax cuts to the floor of the House of Representatives. That means, as it currently stands, the current tax rates will expire at the end of the year and new tax rates will come into effect on January 1, marking the greatest single rise in taxes in history.
