Burst Pipe Forces Closure of CHS Gymnasium
A burst pipe in the heating system at Carmel High School has forced school officials to close the heavily used CHS gymnasium for at least the next 10 days. Superintendent Dr. James Ryan said the gym floor was damaged by the leaking water, with repairs already underway. Ironically, the floor was completely stripped and resurfaced last spring.
