Putnam Lake Woman Hits Child Exiting School Bus
Each day more than 50,000 incidents of motorists passing stopped and loading school buses are reported throughout New York State. The practice is extremely dangerous and can often be fatal for an unsuspecting child. Last Friday, a Putnam Lake woman behind the wheel of her car in Danbury struck a 12-year-old girl who was exiting her bus on North Street near Danbury Hospital.
