Renowned for its 19th-century history and charm, Cold Spring makes a great destination for a day trip or a weekend visit. The entire Village is steps from Metro-North and is easy driving distance from the entire Hudson Valley, Western Connecticut and Northern New Jersey. “It’s Spring in Cold Spring” is a collaboration of business owners to promote Cold Spring’s attractions to first-time visitors, local residents, and long-time fans of the Village.
“I came up here on a day trip from New York City and I fell in love with Cold Spring. I moved here three weeks later and opened up a shop,” said Caryn Cannova, owner of Payning by Caryn and organizer of the “It’s Spring in Cold Spring” event. “Eleven years later, I’m still here and there’s so much to love about this quaint, little village. Come visit with us and enjoy a memorable day as our guests.”
Visit Cold Spring during this event and throughout the year for a number of festive and seasonal events, including Free Summer Sunset Music Series (Sundays from July 3-Sept. 4), Cold Spring Antiques Show, (July 10, 2011), Annual Harvest Festival (October 1, 2011), and Cold Spring by Candlelight (Dec. 3).
