Marie T. (Terry) McMahon passed away peacefully at home in Titusville, Fl., on Mother’s Day 2011. She leaves behind her loving husband of 67 years, Martin; one daughter, Grace Reeber of Hopewell Junction; and three sons, John, of Hopewell Jct., Bob of Lake Carmel, and Tom, of Pawling. Another son, Patrick, of Lake Carmel passed away in 1998.

She will also be fondly remembered and missed by her ten grandchildren, Bobby, Brian, Brendan, Kevin, Dennis, Erin, Ryan, Kyle, Shannon, and Michael; as well as her nine great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Timothy, Meaghan, Brendan, Sean, Brenna, Seth, Brianna, and Joseph; and her two sisters, Helen Haskell of Naples, Florida and Peggy Gister of Wisconsin. Two brothers, George and Robert, predeceased her.

Terry was born in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, the daughter of Armand and Louise Bousquet, and moved to Brooklyn as a young girl. She was a Lake Carmel resident from 1952 until 1978, when she moved with her husband to Florida. After raising her family, she worked several years at the Kent Nursing home and Guideposts of Carmel. Terry will be missed by all who knew her and loved her. She was 86 years old.

A memorial service is being planned in Lake Carmel for some time during the summer.
