The Town Board of the Town of Patterson is seeking separate sealed bids for the purchase of Liquefied Petroleum (LP) Gas - Propane, Town of Patterson. Bids will be received by the Town Clerk of the Town of Patterson at the Office of the Town Clerk, Town Hall, 1142 Route 311, Patterson, New York 12563 until 2:00 p.m. o'clock local prevailing time on August 4 2011 and then at said office shall be publicly opened and read aloud.
The Specifications, and other contract documents may be examined at the Office of the Town Clerk, Town Hall, 1142 Route 311, Patterson, New York. Copies may be obtained at the Office of the Town Clerk.
OWNERS RIGHTS RESERVED:
The Town of Patterson, hereinafter called the "Town", reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any formality or technicality in any bid in the interest of the Town.
STATEMENT OF NON-COLLUSION:
Bidders on the Contracts are required to execute a non-collusion bidding certificate pursuant to
Section 103(d) of the General Municipal Law of the State of New York.
STATEMENT OF EQUALITY
The Town of Patterson hereby notifies all Bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in regard to any Contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority business enterprises will be
afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.

NOTICE OF HEARING
AMENDMENT TO SECTION 32-9(A)(5)
OF THE KENT CODE
PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that there has been introduced before the Town Board of the
Town of Kent, New York, on June 21, 2011, an amendment to Section 32-9(A)(5) of the Kent Code entitled “Nuisances” to include additional language concerning curbing of dogs.
NOW THEREFORE, pursuant to Section 20 of the Municipal Home Rule Law, the Town Board of the Town of Kent, New York will hold a public hearing on the aforesaid amendment of Section 32-9(A)(5) of the Kent Code at the Town Offices, 25 Sybil’s Crossing, Kent Lakes, New York, on July 19, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. in the evening of that day at which time all persons interested therein shall be heard. The Town Board will make every effort to assure that the hearing is accessible to persons with disabilities. Anyone requiring special assistance and/or reasonable accommodations should contact the Town Clerk.

BOND RESOLUTION OF THE COUNTY OF PUTNAM, NEW YORK, ADOPTED JUNE 7, 2011, AUTHORIZING HIGHWAY INFRASTRUCTURE AND RECONSTRUCTION OF ROADS LOCATED THROUGHOUT AND IN AND FOR SAID COUNTY THEREOF AT A MAXIMUM ESTIMATED COST OF $1,350,000; AND AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF $1,350,000 BONDS OF SAID COUNTY TO PAY THE COST THEREOF.
Class of objects or purposes: Highway infrastructure and road reconstruction throughout and in and for said County
Period of probable usefulness: Fifteen (15) years

Local Law #11 of 2011
LOCAL LAW #11- Amend Article 5 of the Putnam County Charter Entitled “Executive Department”
ABSTRACT PROVISION:
This Local Law amends Article 5, Sections 5.01 and 5.02 of the Putnam County Charter, by renaming it the “Department of Purchasing”, by removing the responsibilities associated with Central Services and Information Technology, by requiring that the Director of said Department hold a Bachelor’s Degree and have at least four (4) years’ experience as a buyer, purchaser or an equivalent position, by requiring that said appointment be confirmed by the Legislature, by restricting the Director from holding any other public or political office, and by restricting all managerial employees within the Department of Purchasing from engaging in any private practice or outside employment in their field of expertise.
