Cuomo Extends Hours at Swimming Facilities, Parks During Heat Wave - Free Access
Governor Andrew M. Cuomo today (Friday) announced he has directed the Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation to offer extended hours at state swimming facilities and other state parks during the current heat wave as a way to help New Yorkers beat the heat. The extended hours will begin today and continue through Saturday evening.

A week ago, the Kent White Sox of the WPBA/NABF Collegiate Division won the WPBA regular season title; now they have the playoff title to go along with it. The Sox (24-3) entered the playoffs as the top seed and outscored their opponents 24-2 in their three wins. Full Story
