CELIA J. BELIVEAU

Celia Jenny Beliveau, 80, a resident of Pawling, passed away Friday, August 19, 2001 at Putnam Hospital Center, Carmel.

Born in Colman Station, NY on May 6, 1931, Celia was the daughter of the late Russell and Celia (White) Daley. She resided in Wingdale for 35 years before coming to Pawling, and was married to Donald “Dutchie” Beliveau, who predeceased her on April 1, 2006.

Before she retired, she was a floor manager at Healy Coyle in Bethel, CT. Celia was a member of the Pawling Lions Club, and she enjoyed painting, knitting, and gardening.

Celia is survived by her four sisters, Thelma Sprague of Carmel, Lorna White of Brewster, Joyce Osborne of North Carolina, and Ella Hyatt of Patterson, as well as several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held for Celia on Monday, August 22, at 11am at the Horn & Thomes, Inc. Funeral Home, 83 East Main Street, Pawling. Burial followed in Quaker Hill Cemetery, Pawling.

Donations in Celia’s name may be made to the Pawling Lions Club.
