Karen Ann Oliviero of Brewster, New York, died Thursday October 27, 2011 in Manhattan, at the age of 62.

Karen was born on July 26, 1949 in Mt. Kisco, N.Y., the daughter of Catherine (Lovallo) Balzano of Ft. Pierce, Fla., and the late William Ernest.

Karen graduated from Brewster High School in 1967, was a member of Brewster’s St. Lawrence O’Toole Church and had been working as a project manager for the DEP in Valhalla.

Karen is survived by her mother Catherine, Catherine’s husband Ralph; her three children - Dina Canarozzi of Danbury, Karla Oliviero and Anthony Oliviero, both of Brewster; her sister Linda Tanner of Torrington, Conn.; and four grandchildren Marco, Liliana, Madison, and Taylor.
