NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that the fiscal affairs of the town of Patterson for the period beginning on
January 1, 2010 and ending on December 31, 2010 have been examined by the office of the state comptroller and that the report of examination prepared by the office of the state comptroller has been filed in my office where it is available as a public record for inspection by all interested persons. Pursuant to section thirty-five of the general municipal law, the Patterson Town Board has authorized the preparation of a written response to the report of examination prepared by the office of the state comptroller and will file such response, when completed, in my office as a public record for inspection by all interested persons not later than October 26, 2011.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the Town Board of the Town of Carmel, pursuant to Town Law Section 202-a will conduct a Public Hearing at the Town Hall, 60 McAlpin Avenue, Mahopac, New York on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at 7:00 PM or as soon thereafter that evening as possible for the following purpose:
To consider the 2012 Tentative Assessment Rolls of Carmel Sewer Districts #1, #2, #3, #4, #5, #6, #7 and #8 and extensions thereto as well as Carmel Water Districts #1, #2, #3, #4, #5, #6, #7, #8, #9, #10, #11, #12, #13, #14 and extensions thereto
BE IT FURTHER NOTICED, that the 2012 Tentative Assessment Rolls may be inspected at the office of the Town Clerk, Town Hall, 60 McAlpin Avenue, Mahopac, New York during normal business hours.
At said Public Hearing, all interested persons shall be heard on the subject thereof. The Town Board will make every effort to assure that the Public Hearing is accessible to persons with disabilities. Anyone requiring special assistance and/or reasonable accommodations should contact the Town Clerk.

PUBLIC NOTICE
TOWN OF KENT
In order to facilitate the removal of snow from the roads, streets and highways within the Town of Kent, the overnight parking of vehicles on the roadway is hereby prohibited. Vehicles found parked on any such roads, street or highways, will be issued a traffic summons and towed at the owner’s expense.
Residents of the Town of Kent are also cautioned that should their vehicles become disabled during a snow storm and is abandoned, the operator must notify the Town of Kent Police Department forthwith and such vehicle must be removed as soon as possible or it will be towed at the owner’s expense.
This ban is in effect from November 15th – April 15th yearly.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the County Executive of the County of Putnam at Room 300 of the County Office Building, 40 Gleneida Avenue, Carmel, New York 10512 on the 29th day of November at 4:30 and 6:30 concerning:
A LOCAL LAW
To Amend Article 9 of the Putnam County Charter Entitled "Department of Highways & Facilities" adopted by the Putnam County Legislature on November 14, 2011, Resolution R#343.
This Local Law amends Article 9, Section 9.01 of the Putnam County Charter, by removing the requirement that the Commissioner of Highways and Facilities be a resident of the County of
Putnam, but that he/she reside within 50 linear miles from the Highway Department Offices.
Copies of the Local Law are available at the Office of the Putnam County Legislature, Room 313, 40 Gleneida Avenue, Carmel, New York 10512.
At the aforesaid time and place all persons interested in the subject matter thereof will be heard concerning same. Comments will also be accepted via regular mail submitted to the above referenced address, electronic mail to maryellen.odell@putnamcountyny.gov, and facsimile to (845) 808-190 I.
This Local Law shall take effect forty-five (45) days after its adoption, subject to referendum on petition in accordance with the provisions of Section 24 of the New York State Municipal Law.
