Putnam Valley Woman Is Missing

By ERIC GROSS

The Putnam County Sheriff's Department is asking the public for its assistance in finding a missing Putnam Valley woman.

Cathleen Venditti, 54, was last seen by her family on Monday morning when according to Captain William McNamara she left her Cherry Street home for an appointment in Croton-on-Hudson.

McNamara said Venditti missed her appointment and failed to return home: "Circumstances suggest that she may be in a depressed state and without her needed medication."

Venditti is described as a white woman with blonde hair and blue eyes. She stands 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs 165 pounds. She was last seen wearing blue jeans and a black jacket and was operating a 2008 Toyota RAV4 sports utility vehicle bearing a license plate number EHN 8004.
