Anna C. Sheenan, 94, of Croton-On- Hudson, NY, formerly of the Bronx and Lake Carmel, passed away on February 3, 2012 at Bethel Nursing Home, in Croton-On-Hudson, NY.

Miss Sheehan was born on November 7, 1917, in Mt. Kisco, to William and Mary (Curran) Sheehan. She was a retail clerk for Loehmann’s Department Store in the Fordham section of the Bronx. She is survived by her loving nieces and nephews, Joseph Martin (Johanna), Elizabeth Sutor (Stephen), William Martin (Dwan), Marie Martin and Theresa Martin Mota, many grand nieces and grand nephews, and many great grandnieces and great-grand nephews. She is predeceased by both of her beloved parents, and her two loving sisters; Catherine Sheehan and Mary Martin, as well as her brother-inlaw Joseph Martin and niece Catherine Coughlin.

Anna was active in the Carmel Nutrition Center during the 16 years she lived in Lake Carmel. A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Wednesday, February 8, at St. James the Apostle R.C. Church in Carmel, with interment at Rose Hills Memorial Park, Putnam Valley. Arrangements handled by Cargain Funeral Homes, Inc., 10 Fowler Avenue, Carmel, NY 10512 845-225-3672.
