EDWARD WALLACE HOPKINS
Edward Wallace Hopkins, 95, passed away Friday, January 27, in Roanoke, Virginia. Ed was born near Brewster on May 24, 1916, to Wallace and Martha Lukens Hopkins, and graduated from Carmel High School. His first wife, Ruth, and brother Reed Hopkins preceded him in death. Full Story
STEPHEN P. HOWARD
Stephen P. Howard of Putnam Lake died Saturday February 11, 2012, in Carmel, at the age of 61.
Mr. Howard was born January 26, 1951, in the Bronx, son of the late John and Della (Crowley) Howard.
He graduated from Brewster High School in 1969 and married Gayle Dakin at Sacred Heart Church in Patterson on Dec. 7, 1974. Full Story
JOSEPH ZINTER JR.
Joseph Zinter Jr. of Brewster died suddenly on Saturday, February 11, 2012, in Mt. Kisco, at the age of 72.
Mr. Zinter was born on January 18, 1940, in Deutsch-Schutzen, Austria, son of the late Joseph and Hedwig (Novogratz) Zinter.
He came to the United States at the age of 16 and settled in the Bronx. Full Story
