Valentine’s Thanks to Brewster School Children
Hundreds of brightly colored Valentine’s Day cards each with a special message made the day extra special for patients at the Castle Point Veterans Hospital in Dutchess County Tuesday.
The Valentines for Vets program has been a fixture at schools throughout Putnam County for years when members of the American Legion collect the cards and hand-deliver them to the V.A. hospital. Full Story

Putnam Community Action Program is $600 richer this week thanks to students at Carmel High School.

On Friday afternoons when most middle school children can’t wait to leave their school campus and head home for weekend activities, a group of Brewster students stays late after the buses leave with guidance counselor Joanna Biagi to work on projects with the recently formed Collection Club.
