Robert D. “Rusty” Adams died at the age of 64 on Wednesday, February 29, 2012, at his home in Beulaville, N.C., after a long illness.

He was born Dec. 12, 1947, in Mt. Kisco, son of the late Robert and Marie Hall Adams. He grew up in the Brewster area and was a truck driver for Ralph Burdick Blacktopping for many years before moving to Beulaville, where he was employed as an over the road driver for Robert’s Trucking Co. He was predeceased by his brothers, Frank and Steven, and by his sister Jorja Hanlon.

Memorial calling hours were held on March 3, followed by a service at the Dwyer Funeral Home, 23 South Street in Patterson.

Interment will be private.
