James A. Morrison

James A. Morrison of Brewster passed away on Thursday September 27, 2012, with his loving family at his side. Mr. Morrison was 69 years old.

Mr. Morrison was born January 29, 1943, in the Bronx, son of the late Robert and Florence (Ondres) Morrison. He was the brother of the late Robert E. Morrison.

He married Phyllis Bux in the Bronx on June 26, 1965. They have lived in Brewster for the past 42 years and were members of St. Lawrence O’Toole Church in Brewster. Mr. Morrison worked as an electrician for IBEW Local #3 in New York City.

Besides his wife Phyllis of Brewster, Mr. Morrison is survived by his loving sons, James A. Morrison Jr. of Charlotte,

N.C., Michael R. Morrison and Paul J. Morrison of New York City, John G. Morrison of Long Branch, N.J., and his daughter Samantha Morrison and her fiance James Nytko of Brewster. Mr. Morrison is also survived by his step grandson Brendan R Petty of Charlotte, N.C.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Tuesday October 2, 2012, in St. Lawrence O’Toole Church with interment following at Ferncliff Mausoleum in Hartsdale, NY.
