Lucy A. Bondatti

Lucy A. Bondatti, age 97, a lifelong resident of Croton Falls, died on Friday, June 21, 2013, in Carmel.

Mrs. Bondatti was born June 24, 1915, in Croton Falls to Peter and Carmela (Bosco) Maiorani. She was a 1932 graduate of Purdys Central High School in Purdys.

On October 31, 1937, Lucy married George L. Bondatti at St. Joseph’s Church in Croton Falls. Mr. Bondatti died January 22, 1997.

Through the years, Mrs. Bondatti assisted her husband with the road contractor business, George Bondatti, Inc.

Mrs. Bondatti enjoyed reading and travel but the love of her daughter, sonin law and grandchildren were the center of her life.

Mrs. Bondatti is survived by her daughter

Nancy and her husband Mike of Croton Falls, and her three grandchildren, Anna Nicole Moha, Christopher Bruno and Ashley Bruno.

A Funeral Service was held on Monday, June 24, at 1:45 p.m. at the Beecher Funeral Home, 1 Putnam Avenue, Brewster. Interment was to follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Somers. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. www.beecherfuneralhome.com
