Maloney & Gipson Statements Regarding the Manhunt in Putnam

Representative Sean Patrick Maloney (D-Cold Spring) released the following statement regarding the ongoing manhunt in Putnam County:

“My thoughts and prayers are with the victims of this senseless violence and their families, and like many Cold Spring families, I am hoping this murder investigation can be quickly brought to a close. We are grateful for the leadership of the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office and the 100 law enforcement officers from several agencies working around the clock to keep our community safe.”

The Putnam County Sheriff’s Department has asked anyone with information or tips to call 845-808-4350.

Meanwhile, New York State Senator Terry Gipson (D-Dutchess, Putnam), said: “As the search continues, it is important to follow law enforcement’s instructions and remain vigilant.  My top concern is the safety of our community and law enforcement. My hand is extended in any way my office may be of assistance.  My hopes are for a quick and safe conclusion.”
