Sales tax revenue for the first three months of 2019 has surpassed last year’s record numbers by nearly $850,000. Mortgage Tax Receipts Decline During Past Six Months


Mortgage tax receipts have declined during the past six months by just under $50,000. The Putnam Legislature learned the news last week when the county’s semiannual mortgage tax report was issued to members of the Audit and Administration Committee.
