Regina Trippodo Spruck is being remembered this week as a mother figure to her family and friends while making everyone she came into contact with feel welcome.
Trippodo Spruck died on
Christmas morning at the age of 78.
The long-time resident of Lake Carmel before recently relocating to the Village of Montgomery in Orange County was described by her daughter Debbie Estrada as a “special person who endured much during her lifetime including being a cancer survivor.”
Trippodo Spruck was a member of the Lake Carmel FD Ladies Auxiliary who enjoyed sewing, crocheting, had a green thumb for plants and loved all animals.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, George Spruck and children Debbie and her husband Louis; George Jr., Michael and his wife, Kim and Robbie.
She is also survived by seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A funeral service took place on New Year’s Eve in Orange County.
The family has requested in lieu of flowers donations in Regina’s name be made to the Putnam County Humane Society.
